Directions

We recommend using the following route from New England. This is not the shortest route, but in general it is the route least likely to result in significant traffic delays. Please see Christopher's comment below for an alternate route. Either way, we strongly recommend against coming via the Cross Bronx in NYC even though most GPS directions will send you this way.

2. 684 South to
3. 287 West over the Tappan Zee bridge to
4. Garden State Parkway South to
5. NJ Turnpike South to
6. Exit 8 then follow local directions below

We recommend crossing into NJ using the Delaware Memorial Bridge and then taking either 295 or the NJ Turnpike North. If you take 295 North, cross over to the NJ Turnpike by taking 195 East at Trenton to the NJ Turnpike North. Use Exit 8 on the NJ Turnpike and follow the local directions below. Note that we recommend avoiding 95 on the PA side as this road is notorious for traffic especially around Philly.

We recommend flying into Newark Airport. From Newark Airport take the NJ Turnpike South to Exit 8 and follow the local directions below. Without traffic, Newark Airport is about 50 minutes from Peddie.

Philadelphia Airport is also reasonably close so if you get a better fare feel free to fly into Philadelphia. From Philadelphia Airport use the Walt Whitman Bridge to cross into NJ, then take 295 North to 195 East (at Trenton) to the NJ Turnpike North. At Exit 8 on the NJ Turnpike follow the local directions below. Without traffic, Philadelphia Airport is about 70 minutes from Peddie.

We recommend that you do not fly into the NYC airports.

Amtrak (1-800-872-7245) and New Jersey Transit (973-762-5100) provide regular transportation to the Princeton Junction train station, a 10-minute taxi ride from Peddie School.

Suburban Transit (1-800-222-0492) provides bus service from the Port Authority in New York City to Hightstown. Most major airlines fly into Newark and Philadelphia.

Follow Route 33 West, to the first light. Turn left onto Maxwell, then go straight and turn right onto Ward Street. Go over bridge, then take second left into the Peddie School driveway.
